The Gillette is my creation !!! ...Hi there.
The Gillette is my creation !!! . I think the guy who saw it in the Isle of Man must have been quite p----d when he spoke to me ,or on the other hand it might have been me that was also well p-------d ,because he got quite a few facts wrong !!
The crank and cases were my own , but the barrels and heads at that time were Mobylette moped parts . The bike as it appears in the above photo bears little resemblence to how it was when he saw it in Douglas !! . It now has Autisa Big Bore cylinders to make it up to 195cc , 20mm Dellorto carbs , home made cylinder heads , Boyer Bransden electronic ignition , TZR 125 Yamaha gearbox and clutch plus much more .
The photo above was taken last May at the " Coupes de Moto Legende " at the Dijon circuit in France .
It always gives me great pleasure to receive feedback about my little " special " .
Regards , Geoff Bouchard .
PS I,m Not " Dave Gillette " as Andy from Melbourne recollects !!!.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
