It's always been strange to me that a few years after Honda completly gave up on this excellent motorcycle that Suzuki introduced the wildly successful SV650 (in 3 different formats: naked, sport-faired and Adventure DL model) which was answered years later by Kawasaki with the Ninja 650 lineup.... including the "Bike of the year" Versys varient. Obviously Honda pulled the plug way too quickly and with much to little support leaving the field wide open to he rest of the players (although yamaha is trying with the 4 cylinder FZ6 but they're not there yet). Shrewd move there Honda.... What's sad is that a mildly updated version of this exact bike would STILL be competitive in the marketplace. Whatever... shrug..
ATTENTION THIS BLOG WILL BE CLOSING SOON. I'm leaving this blog up till the end of the month. After that all posting will continue at my new site motorcyclephotooftheday.com . All content from this site has already been transferred to the new site and can be found there.
